Automated Vehicle Barriers

Our automatic vehicle barriers ranging from 3 to 12 metres can be fully integrated with any parking control technology such as ANPR, Cotag, GSM, other access control options and are installed fully compliant with all vehicle and pedestrian safety regulations.

Our barriers, whether hydraulic or electro-mechanical, have adjustable speed settings are low maintenance and have manual overrides in the event of power failure.

Optional extras include a Pogo Tip Support, LED Boom Lights, Barriers Skirts (for above or below the boom, or both), Stop / No Entry Signs and Sensing Safety Edges.

Country Gates and Barriers offer a range of automated Sliding Gate Systems, depending on exact requirements such as the amount of usage and integration of a host of control options. Including; Voice/Video Intercom Access, Keypads, Proximity Cards, Token Acceptors, Traffic Lights, Vehicle Loop Detection, Remote Control Transmitters and much more.

Country Gates and Barriers are part of the DHF-powered gate group, and all of our Automated Barrier installations comply with the following;

Machine Directive – 2006/42/EC
Radio Equipment Directive – 2014/53/EU
Electro-Magnetic Compatibility Directive – 2014/30/EU
CE marking regulations – BS EN 13241

To fully comply with the above, we installed several safety devices to protect all users when using. These include photocells, safety-loops, and Category 3 monitored live safety edges, allowing us to Force-Test the barrier, CE mark and issue Handover Certification on completion.

Manual Vehicle Barrier

Manual Vehicle Barriers, Swing gates and Height Restriction Barriers provide a low-cost solution to a wide variety of locations.

Such as car-parking, road access and many other traffic management requirements where automatic gates or barriers are not necessary or cost-effective.

Manual Raise Arm Vehicle Barriers

Available for up to a 9-metre span, it can be locked in open and closed positions, providing a good level of security. Manufactured from heavy-duty steel or aluminium and complete with a fishtailed counterbalance for ease of operation, complete with lockable end support, padlock & keys.

Manual Swing Gates and Manual Height Restriction Barriers

Manual Swinging Gate or Height Restriction Barriers are ideally employed in unmanned areas with low volume traffic to prevent access for vehicles to unauthorised areas. Available as a single or double leaf version in a standard or heavy-duty steel construction.

Whilst being two different products, the Manual Swinging Gate and Height Restriction Barriers can be combined to prevent access for all vehicles at certain times or just larger vehicles at other times when necessary.
