Cantilevered and Tracked Sliding Gates

Sliding Gates are a great solution when a lack of space is an issue or a steep inclination prevents the installation of conventional swing gates.

We supply and install manual & automatic cantilever gates. Whether standard or completely bespoke to match existing fencing/surroundings, we ensure that the finished product is precisely what is required.

Manufactured with a standard framework, our round tube infill can be replaced with various options such as “D” or “W” palisade profiles, timber panels, solid sheeting or various mesh types to integrate perfectly with all fence types or existing surroundings.

Cantilevered sliding gate

The cantilevered sliding gate is different from a conventional type where a track across the entrance is required. With no track, a single cantilever gate can span widths of up to 10 metres and also be installed on uneven ground, over block paving or finish surfaces, or even water.

The gate glides on two sets of support/guide rollers, fixed to a concrete foundation calculated to be above the overall weight of the gate in the closed position to prevent the gate dropping and hidden within the main lower beam extrusion, ensuring a reliable, smooth & quiet operation.

Tracked Sliding gate

The tracked sliding gate runs on wheels fixed to the bottom of the gate frame & run along a track which has to be level in the ground and approximately twice as long as the entrance width for the gate running back into the fully open position.

Available with added security extras such as razor-wire extensions and anti-climb spikes. Both types are available in galvanised steel or aluminium and powder-coat finished in any standard or non-standard RAL colour.
